N268 - ICE AND FIRE LIMITED EDITION MATERIALS: Mediterranean Coral, Turkish Silver & Thai Silver SIZE: 17” Long PRICE: $950 The icy coolness of these hand hammered Thai silver beads combined with the hot red of Mediterranean coral and the intricate silver bead caps created by a Turkish silversmith are a study in contrasts. The hollow, silver beads are from a small village in northern Thailand where the technique for creating them has been handed down from generation to generation. This necklace is a bit more formal than many of my other pieces but it was a case of the beads “talking to me.” They knew what I was supposed to do with them… I just lent them my hands. Wearing this one-of-a-king piece you’ll exude a sophisticated style and a complex wisdom that will drive them mad. You are about to acquire a unique piece of art. The stones were mined by hand and shaped individually by skilled artisans. Every stone is different. The color and texture will vary from stone to stone depending on which mine or source they were derived from. Being one-of-a-kind pieces they will not exactly match each other or the pictures on the site. I try to balance stones as much as possible sorted by color and size.
